Theatre driven by inquiry and practice.
We are Troy Foundry Theatre; we explore the social issues of today by collaborating with a variety of artists from multiple disciplines to produce and perform new work and reinterpreted classics through the means of new writing, devising and immersive performances.
We inquire. We mould. We create.
The Troy Foundry Theatre is hosting 3 readings of 3 new plays three successive Mondays
The Troy Foundry Theatre is excited to launch its new Dark Day Mondays: FREE Reading Series on December 4th at one of our favorite spaces, The Hangar on the Hudson, with a staged reading of Roan at the Gates, a new play by Christina Gorman. The series will continue on Monday, December 11th with Then Came the Fall, a new play by playwright Nahal Navidar being presented at the Collar Works, a very cool arts gallery on River Street in Troy. The December session will finish on December 18th with a reading of 100 Years by playwright Richard Dresser (Below the Belt, Rounding Third) at the Scarlet Seven, a new and edgy Fine Arts Gallery on 4th Street in Downtown Troy. Come join us for some fresh theatre!
