Troy Free Store
In August of 2020, local activists Tasheca Medina, Dara Silberman spearheaded an initiative to provide a once-a-week mutual aid event that would provide used clothing and household goods to anybody who needs them, and all for free!
Since then, and in collaboration with Equality for Troy and the Troy Foundry Theatre, the Troy Free Store has provided scores of much-needed for Troy’s most needy.
The Troy Free store is open every Wednesday - always dependent on weather - from 12-4 p.m. Come take only what you need and feel free to donate as well.
